Saskatoon Engagement Photography - Sam & Josh

This past weekend I went out with Samantha and Josh. The lighting was perfect (the sun was tucked behind the wintery clouds)... there was horfrost on the trees and the river was pretty much frozen over. It was so pretty and wintery.

The Best part was that it wasn't -50.... it was actually only about -10, which is nice if you are outside for a couple hours.

Saskatoon Photography - Hot Yoga on 20th

There is a new Yoga Studio that just recently opened a weeks ago in my neck of the woods. It is called "Hot Yoga on 20th"

If you want a really amazing workout I would advise to attend this class with Dallas Kruszeinicki. They have the yoga room at 105 degrees (You could almost pretend you are in Mexico, just practice with your eyes closed). I went for my first visit this past Wednesday, and it was great.

Saskatoon Photography - Lady Bug Cake

This is my very first attempt at making a shaped cake... inspired of course by the "Ace of Cakes" television show...  I was commissioned by a co-worker to make a lady bug cake for her daughters birthday. I used nibs for the antennas, gum paste for the eyes and of course Lots of icing. The lady bug is sitting on a bed of Oreo's.. Yum.
